After many years of writing trip reports over on Flyertalk.com under the alias ‘Jermyn’ (and a couple of whirlwind years on Instagram), I’ve finally bitten the bullet and created my own website.
Whilst writing up these reports has been hugely enjoyable, it has also been massively cumbersome and time consuming. Dealing with Flyertalk’s bulletin board format meant that a single trip could take over one hundred hours to write. I’m hoping that as this site grows, I’ll finally be able to lay out my travels in exactly the way I always envisaged, in a far more efficient manner.
This means that text and images should flow a lot better and video integration should be much smoother too.
In addition to higher quality posts, greater efficiency means more reviews being posted, in a far more expeditious manner 😉
I cannot wait to start getting my content uploaded. I’m very excited and hope that you are too!
In the meantime, feel free to ask me any questions you may have.
Thanks for reading and safe travels…

Jarvis – so awesome. Glad you have your own site. Can’t wait to follow along. Headed to Dubai in November and am following your lead (Park Hyatt suite, drinks at Atmosphere, dinner at Amal). Keep up the great work!

Hi Evan,
Thanks for stopping by!
Having just re-done that trip, a month ago, I can assure you that you’ll have a great time 🙂
Cocktails at At.mosphere followed by dinner at Amal is hard to beat.
Hi Jarvis! I stumbled by your Instagram by chance and I must say it’s a gem of inspiration. Everyone should have dreams and following your travels give me new ones all the time. Hope to learn the tricks of your travels through this site 🙂
Thank you so much for the kind words Azlan, I’m not sure if I know the meaning of life but travel is the closest thing I’ve found so far :). I hope you’ll find my site useful in guiding you on your journey…
This looks great! Very slick. Thanks for putting in the hard work and have loved following you on Flyer talk and Instagram, and now this can’t wait to read and see more of your travels. If you need someone to carry ya bags I’m available:-)
Thanks a lot for the support Dominic, much appreciated!
As you can see, I’m currently logged in at all hours getting more content added – it’s not hard work if you absolutely love it 🙂
Not the first offer of bag person I’ve ever had… perhaps I should arrange some sort of competition/ feats of strength/ dance off etc.
Well I’ve been known to bust a move or 2, especially after a drink! I reckon I’d be in the running!
Looking forward to reading and following along with you on your travels.
Hi Jarvis, have followed your trip reports in the past on Flyertalk. Just a note to say thanks for publishing your travel adventures and inspiring me to take the leap into premium cabins. Completed my first QR J trip recently with family and loved it. Keep up the good work ….. looking forward to both reading more and making new trips of my own! Cheers
That’s absolutely awesome Ross! I’m so psyched to hear that you were able to derive some inspiration from my writing 🙂 Have you seen the latest QR deals from CAI to BKK in F? I have to admit they’re looking quite tempting…
Hi Jarvis, site looks great but there isn’t any booking information. Are your tickets purchased or booked with miles? Color on how trips were booked would be a welcome addition
Thanks Ashley! I’ve tried to cover as much info as possible in the intro section of the full trip reports but will be adding to this with a series of tutorial posts.
In the meantime I just posted about an amazing deal on Qatar airways!
