Nice interview. You’re right about going back to economy lol, that’s hard to swallow. I got LAX-HKG coming up in a couple weeks and my SWUs haven’t cleared yet. Stressed! ^_^
Thanks!
Ouch, that flight is a real gamble for SWUs. Such a high payoff but such a horrible downside too. Keeping my fingers crossed for you 🙂
I’ve been quite lucky finding C and U availability on LHR – JFK in advance. Not quite the same bang for my buck as HKG but it’s great to know you have the upgrade for sure and can select 3/4 A/K.
Lol funny thing I just logged into my AA account and saw my flight details had disappeared. That’s usually the sign that the SWU was processing. So I called in and sure enough that was the case, asked the agent to push it through. 🙂
Unfortunately mini cabin is full atm, but F is wide open. Maybe have some people upgrade from there or a couple no shows would be nice lol
That’s awesome news! I hope your theory on the minicabin holds 🙂
Great article .
I definitely need to visit the Maldives, you placed them among your best destinations and I agree with you on Bangkok and Tokyo….
and of course my favorite would be flying SQ suites !
Ciao
Thanks Nicola!
I love the Maldives so much that I’m already booked to return to the Conrad Maldives next year 😀
I’ll be posting the Maldives and Etihad Apartments trip report next…
