REVIEW – Etihad First Class Lounge, Abu Dhabi (AUH – Terminal 3)

Back in 2016, when I first visited this lounge, Etihad was at its apex. Apartments were still a very new product and the lounge had only been open for a couple of months. The glow of invincibility surrounding this company was palpable, everybody wanted a piece of them. The dining experience we had here would easily have cost upwards of £250 per person in a top London restaurant and would have been worth every penny!

SECOND REVIEW – Etihad : First Class Apartments – Abu Dhabi AUH to London LHR (A380)

After an amazing multi course meal complete with vintage champagne and cocktails in the First Class lounge, we were ready to make the most of the bed on this flight. In a way, it seemed like a waste having such an amazing product and only using it to sleep... but on the other hand it was nearly 3am, we had experienced apartments before and I was really hoping to get a decent sleep before heading straight to the office a few hours later

TRIP REPORT – D.O.M. and Dom with my Dad. AKA Sao Paulo Seventieth Silliness

Ever since I first got involved in the world of miles and points I've done whatever I could do get my friends and family involved too. It's all well and good travelling everywhere in First Class but as with all of life's great experiences, travel is a pursuit best shared. There's something truly wonderful about being able to go on these rarified, extravagant adventures with other people, especially if those people thought they'd never live to see the day that they set foot in the pointy end of a plane.

REVIEW – Singapore Airlines : First Class – Barcelona BCN to Sao Paulo GRU (B77W)

I was so happy to be able to share this experience with my Dad. I know how much he appreciates great wine and food and was delighted to be able to just hang out and enjoy his company on such a lengthy daytime flight. I did have minor reservations going into this, a fear that SQ would deliver a second rate experience and the crews would be disinterested, given that the route was due to be scrapped.
