The kind of lounge that makes you want to arrive at the airport with barely a minute to spare. If you're 12 you'll love the playstations and unlimited Fanta but otherwise the fact that there is zero privacy, a lack of decent food and very few places to charge a device make this a lounge best avoided.

The Business Class facilities had long been conspicuous for their relative state of neglect and disrepair. With the newly renovated Hall L lounge Air France has made a strong statement of intent. Gone are the dreary, utilitarian days of yore. Now Air France wants to present varied seating, art, cocktails and abundant light.

First and foremost the service was excellent. The staff were very engaging and friendly and were always looking to anticipate demands and make the experience as comfortable as possible for passengers. On this basis alone I'd be happy to fly AF again.The seat however is good but not great...

REVIEW – China Southern International Sky Pearl VIP Lounge : Guangzhou CAN T2

I was extremely pleasantly surprised by the China Southern International Sky Pearl VIP lounge.My expectation was one of brusque or standoffish service, subpar food, no amenities and a lack of viable seating options.Instead I got to eat amazingly fresh and delicious Chinese food, participated in a tea ceremony and was able to charge my devices whilst sitting very comfortably in one of ten or more viable seating areas. The staff cleared plates and wiped tables at a prodigious rate and did so with a smile...
