REVIEW – Cathay Pacific : The Arrival Lounge, Hong Kong Airport

The Arrival is unique in the fact that it is open so late, having the option to arrive, get showered and then head straight into town for a night out, is amazing. This isn't a lounge where you would want or need to spend a huge amount of time but it is well appointed and has everything you need. It is a great place to quickly and easily arrive refreshed and ready to head into Hong Kong.

REVIEW – Cathay Pacific : The Wing Business Class Lounge, Hong Kong

I really like the decor here, the black marble, wood and bamboo complement each other nicely. I'm also a fan of the large open kitchen. After placing our order we were given a buzzer which lit up within a couple of minutes, indicating that our food was ready.

REVIEW – Qantas Lounge, Hong Kong Airport

In future, I think I'll skip the F lounge in the Wing. If you catch it at the right time of day, the F&B and service are leagues ahead here. I was actually a little sad to leave. Although the sadness soon passed and was replaced by excitement to once again find myself sat in the nose of a 747. There are few places I'd rather be. My friends joke that my favourite place on Earth is not on Earth but 34,000 feet above it in a steel tube. Perhaps this says something about me, although I dare say there are a fair few of you reading, who share a similar preference!

REVIEW – Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse: Tokyo Narita

Overall this is a cool, small lounge. The place is very design and service focused, which you'd expect given that these are the two hallmarks of the VS experience. Next time I would show up a little earlier to enjoy a peaceful boarding process. This is not a lounge where you would want to arrive three hours early tough as the space is limited and the place can get very crowded in the lead up to the LHR flight.
