REVIEW – Hyatt Regency London The Churchill

The Churchill is a very well located hotel which manages to be within a two minute walk of some of London's busiest shopping and dining streets, whilst retaining an air of calm and tranquility overlooking the Portman Square Park. The staff on the club level were universally superb, everybody seemed to be happy to work there and it results in a remarkably pleasant experience. The club lounge itself was a quiet and elegant place to relax and offered a wide variety of high quality food and drink.

REVIEW – Qantas Lounge: Business and First Class, LHR T3

Perhaps I went into this with my hopes set too high but I really don't feel that this lounge is anywhere near the level of Cathay's Business lounge next door, let alone the First Class section. The Qantas decor isn't as luxurious, the food is not as good, there is a lack of natural light, runway views and power sockets and if you don't like gin, the drinks selection is far more limited.

REVIEW – Air Canada : Business Class – Vancouver to London LHR (B789)

The overall experience was absolutely one of the best that I've ever had in business class. I had no real expectations going into this and came away with a real fondness for AC. If this is the service standard that they are able to consistently deliver, they have to be one of the best airlines in North America.

REVIEW – Victory House London – MGallery Hotel

I was somewhat apprehensive about spending time in the touristy part of town but honestly the proximity to Leicester Square was largely incidental to us. Unless you are looking for moments of zen like calm in the evening, you could stay here and not be bothered whatsoever by the bright lights and loud groups on the streets below.
