The service is highly variable and at times borderline incompetent. The decor is bland and unexciting, the facilities are jam packed with guests and the location means that other hotels block the view of the Marina Bay.

Cathay Pacific's soft product is great, the food and beverage were simple and delicious and the dessert trolley was a wonderful touch.
The seats are not the best though...

I was so happy to be able to share this experience with my Dad. I know how much he appreciates great wine and food and was delighted to be able to just hang out and enjoy his company on such a lengthy daytime flight. I did have minor reservations going into this, a fear that SQ would deliver a second rate experience and the crews would be disinterested, given that the route was due to be scrapped.

Having now visited the Four Seasons on multiple occasions I have to say that it not only keeps getting better, it is also quite possibly one of the greatest hotel deals in the world.
