REVIEW – Thai Airways : First Class – Bangkok to Tokyo (A380)

All in all, this was one of my favourite ever flights. The FAs on TG can make or break a flight and once again this crew was a cut above. The hard product is very nice, the white trim does show some signs of wear and tear but really, that is to be expected. Ultimately though, the hard product is well above average and the crews are too. I highly recommend flying TG F if you haven't done so already.

Bali and Taipei – *A Getaway with USDM – BR J, TG J – Peninsula, Alila

There is definitely a line of thinking in our hobby which states that any change to a loyalty program = the sky is falling. USDM was a crazy experience. I will miss hours spent listening to the hold music, the adrenaline rush when a crazy routing gets ticketed or even the crushing blow of having the rates desk kill a dream route after the final award seat in a 10 leg itinerary opens up.

REVIEW – Thai Airways and Singapore Airlines Business Class Lounges, Bangkok Airport

I'd always choose the Singapore lounge over the Thai lounges, unless my gate was absolutely miles away. The only downside is that it has no toilets, not a huge deal but still, I overheard a few different people asking staff members and reacting in an astonished fashion when they found out that they would have to leave the lounge to use the bathroom.

REVIEW – Thai Airways : Business Class – Bangkok to Bali Denpasar (B772)

Thai Airways refurbished their 772s in the past couple of years and removed the middle seat from what used to be a 2-3-2 config. This is a huge improvement, paying for Business and ending up in a middle seat is just not on in this day and age (although Emirates don't seem to have gotten the memo).
