    Belmond's Hiram Bingham is a beautifully restored and maintained train, which truly immersed us in the golden age of rail travel. There is no question that the overall experience is very luxurious and that it is the ideal way to circumvent some of the more onerous government regulation, that makes visiting the citadel of Machu Picchu so complicated.

The Senator Lounge at Zurich's E gates redefines what an airport lounge can be. If this was a First Class facility it would be amongst the best in the world. The fact that it is open to frequent flyers across the Star Alliance network, flying short-haul economy, is absolutely stultifying.

The design of this lounge is mostly great and I really like the dedicated travel centre and the coffee. The food selection is poor though and the area by the windows could definitely do with some privacy screens and tables to break the space up a bit.
