If you're only in town for a day or two, especially if this is your first visit, then perhaps you'd be better served by a property that has less to offer.
Honestly a key 'problem' that we faced here is that we had to really drag ourselves away to explore the city.
Any moment spent outside of the hotel seemed like a waste because being on property is just that good.
