VikingOne 21 1024x576 - REVIEW - OSL Lounge, Oslo

Both the OSL lounge and the SAS lounge are located on the 1st floor above the Duty Free checkouts. The SAS lounge takes *A Gold and premium cabin passengers, the OSL lounge takes everybody else

The lounge is decorated in a modern Scandinavian style with plenty of wood and interesting lighting

There are tarmac views and a variety of different seating options. At 6:30am the lounge is almost entirely empty, with most people congregating in the central sofas

This lounge not only has water and beer on tap, it also has wine taps!

VikingOne 24 652x1024 - REVIEW - OSL Lounge, Oslo

The selection of buffet options at breakfast is quite extensive and actually very healthy for what can be a carb heavy affair, when mass catered.

VikingOne 27 1024x576 - REVIEW - OSL Lounge, Oslo

My favourite place to sit, the comfy chairs with a view of the tarmac. That’s a glass of diet coke by the way not ‘tap wine’, for some reason drinking champagne first thing in the morning seems totally acceptable to me, whilst drinking red wine with breakfast would be the refuge of the depraved and the wretched.

Conclusion

The OSL lounge can’t be accessed via Priority Pass and I think this helps to keep the numbers down. The catering is decent, there are numerous seating options and the staff are also friendly and proactive in clearing glasses and restocking items.

By no means a groundbreaking lounge but perfectly nice to spend a few hours in. The wifi is free in the whole airport and fast enough for streaming netflix etc. Certain seats don’t have easy access to powerpoints (those in the bar style areas in particular) but other than that, no complaints from me!
