At NRT we were able to use the superb JAL Business Class lounge. Having previously spent time in the ANA First Class lounge, I can unequivocally state that the JAL lounge utterly destroys it.
From the moment you see the Gold lettering on the grey slate wall, the JAL lounge's elegance is readily apparent.

We stopped into the lounge to have a quick look around. Whilst the lounge is nicely decorated and has a cost feel, it is not in the same league as the JL offering. Which makes sense, given that NRT is JAL's home base.

Overall this is a cool, small lounge. The place is very design and service focused, which you'd expect given that these are the two hallmarks of the VS experience. Next time I would show up a little earlier to enjoy a peaceful boarding process. This is not a lounge where you would want to arrive three hours early tough as the space is limited and the place can get very crowded in the lead up to the LHR flight.
