Superb room hardware and the game viewing was as private and wild as you could possibly hope for. For the majority of our time on the game drives, it felt like we were at one with nature, totally disconnected from other human beings and the outside world.
The design of this lounge is mostly great and I really like the dedicated travel centre and the coffee.
The food selection is poor though and the area by the windows could definitely do with some privacy screens and tables to break the space up a bit.
SWISS shorthaul business is quite a bare bones affair. No jacket hanging, an economy seat, no centre table and no hot food.

The Senator Lounge at Zurich's E gates redefines what an airport lounge can be. If this was a First Class facility it would be amongst the best in the world. The fact that it is open to frequent flyers across the Star Alliance network, flying short-haul economy, is absolutely stultifying.
There is a lot to like about SWISS business class but there are more than enough negatives to place this in the second tier of business class products behind the likes of Qatar, Etihad and Singapore Airlines. If the cabin was all throne seats...
