When I saw an airfare from Tunisia to Vietnam flying a combination of Air France and China Southern (both for the first time!), with the possibility of an extended stopover in Paris for £650 per person, round trip - I booked instantly. No questions asked.
The flight was delayed by over an hour, no food was served and the interior of the plane looked extremely worn and dirty.
However for a mere $50, I'd pay the premium for business class every time. To me the fast-track security, lounge access, priority boarding and larger seats make the incremental cost more than worthwhile, despite the comparatively subpar onboard product.
The modern lounge design and abundance of light are definite pluses but the lack of charging points and low quality alcohol selection detract from the overall experience. Overall this is a perfectly acceptable spot to spend some time before your flight. If you had a couple of hours here I'm sure you'd be fine just sitting by the window and watching the planes go by. Personally I wasn't overly disappointed by the fact that we only had ten minutes here.
