Overall it is hard to deny that Amanpuri is the best resort in Phuket. This is manifestly clear. However the leap in price between Amanpuri and its very close peers means that the resort will continue to work to prove itself....a fact for which I am deeply thankful.
A once in a lifetime opportunity to lock in remarkably low hotel rates all the way until August of next year (2023)!
Since we offer fully flexible bookings across all of our Japanese partner hotels, there is zero risk and zero cost to you, when you speculatively book hotels in Japan for the coming 12 months.
Intro The Maldives is perhaps the country which is most synonymous with luxury travel. There are a huge number of hotels that charge north of $2,000 per night, so the addition of another into their midst would usually not be cause for a huge deal of fanfare. However when Patina […]
If you want a truly pristine island experience, enjoying all the natural wonders for which the Maldives is so justly famed, then few places will match the overall quality of experience at Four Seasons Landaa Giraavaru.
After months of waiting, the day of my first ever flight in Virgin Upper Class had arrived!
Wanting to maximise my time in the clubhouse I booked a taxi for 8am. Despite some pretty bad traffic, we pulled up to the gate of the UC wing at around 9:45, plenty of time to enjoy the facilities before the 1:45pm flight... only to be told that there was a technical issue with the barrier.

On board, the crew were engaging, proactive and chatty. The beds are fully flat and private plus there is a decent snack menu and a bar. Also, PJs in Business Class!
Although I really love the size of the rooms, the decor and location of the Conrad, there is something very special about the PH Tokyo, which really does make it stand out in Tokyo and for that matter, the world.
The level of service is just exceptional and that calm sense of serenity, the feeling that you are in a space which transcends the city, is remarkable. If you have a chance to stay here, do. If you didn't think you had a reason to visit Tokyo, start with this hotel. There is no one 'monument' that really puts Tokyo on the map. I love the city because of the deep energy and the sheer variety of experiences on offer. I understand that this alone can make it hard to convince people to visit.
