REVIEW – SWISS : First Class – Zurich ZRH to Montreal YUL (A330)

As an overall experience, flying in SWISS First was absolutely fantastic. The lounge in Zurich may well be my favourite in the world and the service on board was close to perfect. The food was extremely well executed and presented. Indeed the table setting was basically indistinguishable from that of a restaurant, no miniature or plastic pieces of tableware in sight. Most importantly the bed was very comfortable and I managed a deep sleep in the middle of the day without any problems.

REVIEW – SWISS : First Class – Montreal YUL to Zurich ZRH (B777)

After 24 hours enjoying the sights and food of the beautiful, wintry city of Montreal it was finally time to step into SWISS' all new B777 First Class cabin. I was so happy to be able to plan the trip in a way that let me try the older A330 product beforehand as it meant I could finish on a real high note.

WORLD EXCLUSIVE REVIEW – ANA : New First Class “The Suite” – Tokyo HND to London LHR (B777)

In July 2019 ANA shocked the world by announcing brand new First and Business Class cabins on their 777s. Previously ANA was renowned for fantastic service as well as some of the best food and drink in the sky. This was juxtaposed with a bizarrely utilitarian seat that looked like an office cubicle with blocked out windows. With the new seat could ANA finally be ranked as the best First Class in the world?

REVIEW – Garuda Indonesia : Business Class – London LHR to Jakarta CGK (B777)

The seat may not be the most modern, particularly when it comes to the IFE but it is still comfortable, provides aisle access for all passengers and has seats to suit both couples and solo passengers. Above all the crew were exceptional. They were thoughtful, proactive, friendly, courteous and thoroughly professional throughout. They were truly up there with the likes of Singapore and the Japanese carriers. Nothing was too much bother for them and often they would go out of their way to suggest ways in which they could make your flight better.
