REVIEW – Qatar Airways : First Class – A380 – Doha (DOH) to London (LHR)

Overall this flight firmly cemented to me the fact that Qatar First Class is a complete waste of time. Qatar's CEO famously declared that with Q Suites he was offering “First Class at a Business Class fare”. I'd say that in many ways it is actually better than First Class... at least where his airline is concerned.

The October 2020 update to the Qatar COVID policy

I wrote about Qatar's insanely generous COVID rebooking policy back in May this year.  Qatar are now leading the pack by introducing a policy that covers travel all the way until December 2021! The new policy isn't quite as generous as before and there are a couple of extra hoops to jump through but it still absolutely the most flexible rebooking policy of any airline right now.

Whilst BA has gone down the route of creating additional plastic waste and reducing the quality of wine on board, Qatar has instead opted to give full bottles of sanitiser to passengers in addition to providing them all with face shields, gloves and face masks.
