This lounge more than lived up to expectations. I'd been told beforehand that this was more akin to a First Class facility and I found that to be exactly the case

There was a huge amount of hype around the launch of Q suites and honestly I was worried that it would be unjustified. I needn't have been.
This flight featured ample storage, complete privacy, a double bed, dine on demand, PJs, a luxury amenity kit, large and modern IFE and wonderful service throughout.

The Qatar A350 fleet is a bit of a lottery. Despite being the newest aircraft type in Qatar's fleet not all of the A350s have the newest seats. In fact you have a chance of ending up in one of the three possible configurations...

I've never seen a Business Class facility offer this feeling of serenity and quality. Even my old favourite the Virgin Clubhouse in LHR is busy and bustling, it focuses on fun rather than elegance because let's face it that's a hell of a lot cheaper to implement.
Personally I find the food and decor here to be markedly better than in many First Class lounges, like the Thai Royal Orchid Lounge in BKK.
There is no doubt in my mind that this is the best Business Class Lounge on the planet...
